Set up the Gmail filter

One filter covers every bank Tap Track supports or plans to support. You set it once. A new card at a bank already in the filter keeps working with nothing to change. If we add a bank, or a bank starts sending alerts from a new domain, we email you one updated line to paste in.

Before you start:

The filter line

Paste this into the From box:

@dbs.com OR @trustbank.sg OR @sc.com OR @uob.com.sg OR @ocbc.com OR @hsbc.com.sg OR @citibank.com.sg OR @maybank.com.sg
Prefer the Gmail search bar?

Paste this into the search bar at the top of Gmail instead (not into the From box), then open the search options and choose Create filter:

from:(@dbs.com OR @trustbank.sg OR @sc.com OR @uob.com.sg OR @ocbc.com OR @hsbc.com.sg OR @citibank.com.sg OR @maybank.com.sg)

Steps

  1. In the Tap Track app, open forwarding setup and copy your private forwarding address. It looks like a long random code followed by @ and our domain, and is unique to you.
  2. In Gmail, open Settings (the gear), then See all settings, then Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Choose Add a forwarding address and paste your Tap Track address. Gmail sends a confirmation code to that address: Tap Track shows it in forwarding setup, and you paste it back into Gmail and clickVerify.
  3. Leave forwarding itself set to Disable forwarding. The filter does the forwarding.
  4. Click the search options button at the right of the Gmail search bar. Paste the filter line above into From, then choose Create filter.
  5. Tick Forward it to, pick your Tap Track address, and chooseCreate filter.
  6. Test it: make a small PayLah! payment, or any small card payment above your alert threshold. It should appear in Tap Track within a minute.
